Meet Kristi!

Kristi Titus taught in the Loudoun County Public School system for 30 years.  She taught at Leesburg Elementary for all those years.  She mostly taught fourth grade, but she also taught English learners at all levels, too. 

 

She received three separate trainings in Orton
Gillingham from IMSE: Comprehensive, Phonological Awareness Training, and Morphology Plus. She is also fully trained in LETRS, UFLI, and Heggerty.

 

Over the years, Kristi has tutored countless students in the Loudoun County community.  Her most favorite part is when it just clicks for students.  They go from reading one syllable words to two syllable words.  The look on their faces is pure magic.

In her free time Kristi rescues injured wildlife. She is a Category 2 Wildlife Rehabilitator for the state of Virginia. Her animal rehabilitation organization is called Kristi's Caring Hands Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education.
